SOLAL 5-HT supports healthy serotonin levels thereby enhancing mood and reducing anxiety.
Sceletium appears to have inhibitory effects on the serotonin transporter (SERT). It is thought that this is relevant to supplementation of Sceletium as serotonin reuptake inhibitors are used in the treatment of anxiety.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take one (1) capsule daily (with or without meals). Dose can be increased to one (1) capsule twice daily if needed.
Each capsule contains the following active ingredients:
delta-KNX™ sceletium extract
(standardised to 1.25% delta-7-mesembranone) 15 mg
Total alkaloid content: 750 µg
delta-7-mesembranone 188 μg
mesembrine 375 μg
mesembranone 187 μg
Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell, mannitol (sugar alcohol), silicon dioxide, citric acid, magnesium stearate.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Store in a cool dry place below 25 °C, protect from light. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Side effects may include headache, depression or listlessness
There are no known contraindications
Antidepressant medicines: Sceletium may increase serotonin levels. Combining sceletium with antidepressants may lead to additive effects and increase the possibility of side effects. CNS Depressant medication: Sceletium is thought to have sedative properties. Combining sceletium with CNS depressant medication may lead to additive sedative effects. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking anxiolytics, MAO inhibitors, antidepressant medications (e.g. selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)), phosphodiesterase type 4 (PDE4) inhibitors, anti-anxiety or calmative medicines.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not safe for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
