Herbal Africa Pinnata – 30ml
For Emotional Stress
Psoralea Pinnata extracts
Psoralea pinnata is an African herb traditionally used by the Bushman and Zulu for sufferers of emotional stress and trauma. This is its primary and only traditional use: – the emotional aspect and mental aspect of the patient. Psoralea pinnata simply and effectively works on the emotional level state.
- Emotional stress
- Work related strain
- Peer pressure
In terms of its efficacy for trauma and emotional stress, it surpasses its better-known counterpart, Sceletium tortuosum, and is far more effective and rapidly acting than the European Hypericum (St John’s Wort). It is also frequently used as an anti-depressant. Traditionally it is not used as a mood-enhancing herb like the Sceletium tortuosum.
In tincture form, Psoralea pinnata is extremely potent and therefore should never be overdosed under any circumstances and only taken with caution. Overdosing will cause drowsiness and long periods of induced sleep.
In the Cape Province and south Kwazulu Natal, Psoralea pinnata is particularly popular with students, especially because of the peer pressure placed upon them. Psoralea pinnata allows students to concentrate and focus while simultaneously taking away the emotional stress and fear that accompanies demands and pressure. The Bushman and southern Zulu teachers of herbal medicine require their students to take Psoralea pinnata prior to lessons on African herbals. It is said that it clears the mind of preconceived ideas and allows for better assimilation of the information passed on to these students.
Benefits to the user:
The most important benefit for the user of Pinnata is the fact that it has no secondary effects on the user. More often than not the user is unaware that he/she has taken it. Those around the user often notice the effects of Pinnata through behavioural change. A calmer, more collected person emerges after the consumption of Pinnata.
As a supplement:
Because stress has a negative impact on cancer, diabetes and HIV patients, Psoralea pinnata is recommended as a supplement for sufferers of these diseases.
Cancer patients benefit from the use of Psoralea pinnata as this herb helps patients cope with the trauma brought about by cancer and consequent therapy.
It is a well-known fact that stress aggravates diabetes. Diabetes patients who have stress complications are well advised to take Psoralea pinnata as a supplement. This herb is extremely beneficial and highly recommended for diabetics.
Psoralea pinnata effects are pronounced on ex-army combatants who suffer from emotional problems caused by war. Again, the herb works on the emotional level, de-stressing the user and allowing for a healthier frame of mind.
